This conference was really a good one for me as i have been thinking if serving him in the area of nursery kids for quite a long time and this years conference was about serving with the theme "saved to serve".
there are quite a lot that they share but i will just say a few analogy that they given and what i enjoy most during this conference. But firstly i want to thank the lord for arranging the museum thing to such a date that i am able to go for the conference.especailly on tuesday morning.
First anology: The big marble represents Christ and the small marble reprsents wordly things.
When we put small marble into a container then you put the big marble.You definitely can't close the container.However if you put big marble follow by small marble, you can easily close them.This simply means that if we put christ first,the lord will bless the rest of the things we do and will sometimes make it even better.
Second anology:The maid represents us and the master represents the Lord.Just take for example:we hire a maid to work for us but she use her own initiative to do things that you did not ask them to do and is not to your liking.But there is another maid who do everything to what you tell them to do and do it very well and to your liking.Which one will you choose?Then you have this maid that always go to other master to work for them while do not really do work for you will you be happy with her?So from this you can actually see that God actually doesn't like us to do things on our own but rather to listen to how he leads us and that god wants us to be by his side and always listen and respond and obey to what he says.
